Archa+ Café

Archa Theatre is undergoing a significant transformation: renewing its vision, direction, and the audience it seeks to engage. The renewal of the entrance areas - including the foyer,
box office, bar, and café - marks the beginning of this new chapter. These spaces are, and must be, the theatre’s public face within the urban environment.

Theatre has often played a vital role in society as a bearer of new ideas and a platform for critical debate. It is here that ideas can freely intersect, creating space for new ways of thinking.
In turn, these ideas may help chart a path along which society can evolve morally, intellectually, and ethically.

The process of transformation and the formulation of a new platform are the central pillars of the redesign of Archa Theatre’s entrance spaces.

The guiding leitmotif of our approach is the regenerative cycle of life. Just as a forest devastated by fire soon gives rise to new growth, the existing structures here serve as the foundation for new life. From the ashes
of the old Archa, a new Archa+ emerges.

The design and character of the environment we have created will provide fertile ground for debate, much as fire-scarred trees become a rich substrate for new vegetation.
